Martin G Murphy
Martin has an electrical and mechanical background and is recognised for his passion for people and relentless focus on client outcomes. He admits that he is thoroughly enjoying his career to date within the digital infrastructure industry. He is recognised as an industry leader and has made an impact within several senior roles in telecoms and Data Centres over the last 20 years. This most recent role being Chief Operating Officer for CBRE Data Center Solutions. The six years Martin spent with CBRE saw the Data Centre Solutions business grow almost 10x, he successfully expanded a strong and ever-evolving range of services, from operations to projects and consultancy, into new countries. He also spearheaded many industry initiatives to encourage new talent and diversity into the industry. Naturally, the growth of the CBRE business, coupled with his commitment to the future of the industry was recognised globally, resulting in a reputation that led to numerous industry awards for this leadership, focus and contribution.
Clive has 22 years of engineering experience in the Telecommunication and Data Centre Industry, primarily focused on the design, build and operation of mission critical buildings. His Operations background, supporting some of the largest colocation and hyperscale companies in the world, means he understands customer business needs and expectations around continuous availability, safety, security and service excellence. Clive openly shares his work satisfaction comes from successfully delivering customer solutions without impact to their services.
SENIOR TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
James brings over 30 years of industry experience to the team having held previous roles in Energy and sustainability at Vodafone and Principal Design Engineer at EE. He has been involved in the design, construction, and operation of telecommunications and data centre infrastructure across the UK and Europe and has led the development of cutting-edge technology and methodologies on high-profile networks and projects. James is also proficient at developing and delivering mechanical and electrical infrastructure that is both energy-efficient and sustainable, contributing to achieving unrivalled uptime and availability customer solutions without impact to their services.
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
With a project management and electrical engineering background Bas has accumulated valuable experience over the years. He made the move into the data centre space early on in his career and has worked for leading global data centre organisations since. This has led to an impressive skills-set, including further development of his thermal management skills, all contributing to an exceptional understanding of mission critical environments. Bas has managed multiple high value and complex projects across the data centre landscape and brings with him a results-driven mindset that utilises proven methodologies delivered through a strong customer focussed approach.
SENIOR VP of IIoT and DATA SCIENCE
Liam brings over 30 years’ experience of uniting technology and customers together with deliverable, operable, accessible products, alongside combined technical and business value analysis. He specialises in delivering both operational optimisation and financial results. Leveraging this impressive experience, knowledge, and analytical capability enables him to provide a new level of insight into the design and operations of M&E systems. Liam’s huge skill-set includes simulation modelling, platform and infrastructure architecture, IIOT and data science workflows over the full life cycle, from technical concepts through to construction, operation and decommissioning.
